Goodbye, 2012. Hello, 2013. May you also bring great joy!

I am so grateful for the things I was blessed with in 2012.
My BROTHER and HIS FAMILY moved in with me and my parents in December of 2011.

I have been able to see the first year of my NEPHEW's life as he grows so much and the development of my NIECE's second year. She turns 3 soon and they're both getting so big!
I was able to go to the temple a few times with the youth and with McKinley. That was much needed and all at the right times.
I sprained my wrist in soccer, laughed at friends for getting hit with a potato in seminary, SANG A SONG IN A LANGUAGE CALLED BASQUE,  learned a SOLO song in less than a day for SOLO AND ENSEMBLE and got just under a SUPERIOR RATING because the judges loved my voice, cried after forgetting the words to that solo, got a SUPERIOR RATING for my duet with my best friend MARIAH, went to STATE SOLO AND ENSEMBLE with that solo, got 1/2 a point less than a superior rating because the expression wasn't what the judge wanted to see,

learned so much in seminary, went on a couple of daddy-daughter dates, cried, laughed, lost a $500 check, found that check, participated in a magic show by the amazing Craig Campbell, TOOK BAPTISM PICTURES FOR A GIRL I BABYSIT, learned some KARATE, drew with chalk, talked to old people as I walked home from school, loved General Conference, KNEED MYSELF IN THE EYE AND GAVE MYSELF A BLACK EYE WHILE DOING A BACK FLIP INTO THE FOAM PITS at a trampoline place called Get Air, made a ROSE OUT OF PLAY-DOH in seminary, had an awesome history class, advanced in my job, watched Madagascar III, made it into Madrigals for my Senior year, saw my brother get married, got my Personal Progress Young Women's MEDALLION, went on the amazing "All-Star Tour" for choir, endured a looong 14+ hour drive to California, saw the Oakland, California temple, dealt with a "fun roommate for tour," went to Disneyland, saw and played in the ocean, saw the Alkatraz island and toured it, performed all over northern California and Disneyland,

saw "Hairspray" in St. George, fit 81 people in a redwood tree, took a picture with cowboys at Knott's berry Farms, went to Phat Cats for the first time with the family I babysit for, fought two pirates at the float preview party, went to Lake Powell, learned to play a game called Fluxx, stayed on a houseboat, went to youth conference, ate a chocolate porcupine, went to Snow College for one night, did a ton of Statistics homework, waxed my nose hairs in my Stats class, cried about my AP Literature class, touched A HARP and played one for the first time, saw my first live football game at BYU against USU, saw my first REAL Salt Lake game, went to a candlelight thing for a kid at my school who killed himself, sang in a veteran's day concert at the U of U, climbed some trees, found a bench that had a part of it which looked like a mustache, drew a turkey, sang at the Huntsman Cancer Center with Madrigals, had over 30 performances for December, laughed at "the end of the world," saw my nephew take his first steps, got my niece to call me by my name even though she can only call me "Nana," and so much more.
I am excited for 2013 and the blessings that are yet to come!
